Actually a Blog Post

Ok. So my roommate Remington Chase Jeffords I (the first) teased me today about my blog/website. I won't repeat his foul, DISTASTEFUL description of it, :) , but I will begin to write something. And maybe there are people who will like it.

Last night, Remington, Hugh Morgan, and I (my roommates) went to Family Home Evening. It's basically a time to take a break from the week and spend time with those you love. This week it was at Brother Dave Taylor's house, in Alpine. He owns a record label called Bell Boy Music, and has a recording studio in his basement. So yeah. After FHE (Family Home Evening abbreviated), I asked him if I could see his studio, and since he is a great, fun loving man, we ended up jamming in his studio for about an hour to an hour and a half. It was really fun.

Also, today, J.W. Marriott spoke at the weekly BYU devotional. It was invigorating to hear a billionaire speak so candidly about his life, and how he arrived at the top of one of the biggest hotel chains in the world. I'm convinced that doing what you love, and working as hard as you possibly can is the secret to success.
